Meg G. Umlas is the driving force behind Marquee Experience Group.
After a career spent producing high-stakes events for universities and mission-driven organizations, Meg learned one thing above all else: the details that seem invisible are often the ones people remember most.
As the founder of Marquee Experience Group, Meg launched the firm with the belief that exceptional experiences do not simply happen—they are engineered with intention, built on deep relationships, and designed to leave a lasting impression long after the room clears.
Three decades in this field have been defined by work at the intersection of people and purpose, producing events that raise funds, strengthen communities, and bring institutional vision to life. Most recently, as Senior Director of Campaign and Development Events at Boston University, Meg led the strategy and execution behind some of the university’s most significant advancement experiences. From fundraising galas and scholarship dinners to board retreats, road shows, milestone celebrations, and high-touch global travel, her work consistently centered on creating meaningful experiences that drive engagement and impact.
Meg brings equal parts strategic rigor and creative instinct to every engagement. She is a strategist who understands complex board operations, a designer who can translate narrative into experience, and a trusted partner who approaches every guest touchpoint with discretion, cultural competence, and precision.
